Unit 8: MY SCHOOL TIMETABLE.
( lesson 3: 1+2)
I. The aims. - By the end of the lesson, pls will be able to ask and answer questions about school timetables, using frequency expressions.
1, Knowledge:
- Structure: How often have you got …….? Once/ twice/ three times/ four times/ five times a week.
- Vocabulary: Review: school subjects and some frequency expressions,….
2,Teacher: - Pictures, text book, teaching plan, compumter, disk.
3, Student: - book, notebook, pen, eraser, pencil…
III. Procedures.
1. Organization: How are you?
What’s your school name?

2. Check up: Ask one pupil to talk about his/ her school subjects today.

* Vocabulary:
Stick the timetable in part 2 on page 58 to teach new words:
Once a week/ twice a week/ three times a week/ four times a week/ five times a week.











2. Look and say.(20’)

Homework.
Intrduce the dialogue of Akio and Mai.(They are talking about their timetable)
Ask pls to listen and repeat.
* Vocabulary:
Stick the timetable in part 2 on page 58 to teach new words:
Once a week/ twice a week/ three times a week/ four times a week/ five times a week.

Ask pls to read the frequency expressions in the last column.
Ask pls to ask and answer about their timetable.
Call some pairs to demonstrate the task in front of the class.
Check pls’ pronunciation and offer them when necessary.

-Do exercises: D1,2 ( page 40,41 )
+ prepare new lesson.
Look, listen and repeat the dialogue in chorus -> pairs.
Whole class listen and repeat the dialogue.
- Look at the timetable and give the frequency expressions.

Give the model sentences, meaning and intination.
Whole class look at the timetable and read the days of the week.
Read the frequency expressions in chorus.
Practise asking and answering the question in half – half and in pairs.
