Unit 12: THIS IS MY HOUSE
Lesson 2( Listen and repeat,Listen and number) I. Aims :
- Ss will be able to talk about room s in their house.
II. Language input:
1)Phonics: kitchen, bedroom
2)Vocabulary:house,livingroom,kitchen,diningroom,bathroom,bedroom,
garden.
3) Sentence Patterns: This is my house
There is a living room.
There are two bedrooms..
III. Skills development: Listening, speaking, reading and writing.
IV. Resources :
Student book Tiếng Anh 3,unit 13,pages 18-23
Audio and visual aids:Recordings,handmade puppets,flashcards of rooms in the house,photographs of rooms in the house.
Crayons,stickers 3 big pieces of paper for two chants and a song.

I. Warm up:
- Ask Sts to elicit sts to talk about rooms in their own houses.
- Comment.
II. New lesson.
- 1. Listen and repeat
- Elicit pupils to talk about the picture on the page 20.
- Tell pupils that they are going to learn how to pronouce some specific souds.Elicit sts to talk about the picture on this page.Focus student’s attention on the letters coloured differenty in both words kitchen and bathroom .
- Produce the sound of the letters ch and r a few times. Ask sts to say what they think about when they hear these sounds.Give the meaning of the vocabulary teddy bear, chair, cat, running, fast, on the chair, in the kitchen and in the bedroom and - Put the large piece of paper with the chant written on it on the board.
- Ask pupils to repeat.
- Ask Ss to repeat the chant .
- Ask pupils to repeat & others give feedback
2. Listen and number:
- Ask Ss to open the page 20.Have pupils look at the pictures a,b,c,d .
- Asks Sts to look at the pictures and guess what
are they saying.
- Play the recording for Sts to listen and tick the correct pictures
- Play the recording again for Sts to check their answer

- Call Ss to pratise saying the chant and claping the syllables in group

- Comment.
II. New lesson.
1. Read and tick
- Ask sts to look at the page 21.Ask them to identify the rooms in each picture and compare the two pictures two find out the diffirences.
- Tell sts that they are going to read the text in the top frame in order to get the information to get the information,and tick the correct picture
- Read the sentences individually and do the task
- Ask sts to read individually
- Call on some sts to complete the sentences
