UNIT 12: JOBS
LESSON 2- PART 1,2- PAGE 14.
I. Aims:
- Student will be able to count from 1-20.
II. Teaching aids:

- Ss recite the chant on page 13, Lesson 1 in the Ss book.
- T tells the Ss that they are going to learn how to produce the sound of the letters ow in the words how and that of the letter e in the words ten.
- Produce the sound ch and oo a few times.
- Ask Ss to say what they think about when they hear these sounds.
- How old are you?
-I’m ten.
-How about you?
-I’m ten too .
- We’re both ten.
- Play the recording for Ss to listen while they are reading the chant.
- Call on a group of six to the front of the class; ask three of them to repeat each line of the chant and the other three clap on the syllables.
- Repeat this step but swap their role.
- T offers helps and corrects pronunciation errors (stress, assimilation of sounds, intonation) when necessary.
- Make a few questions to check Ss’ comprehension.
- Have Ss circle all the words containing of the focuses sounds Break and play in the chant.
- Tells Ss that they are going to listen to the recording and match the information they hear to the pictures and complete the sentence in the appropriate picture.
- Play the recording for Ss to listen as they look closely at the pictures in their books.
- Play the recording again for Ss to listen and tick correct pictures.
- Replay for Ss to check their answers.

-Elicit the identification of the characters in the pictures and characters’ words.
- Listen and look at the pictures and complete.
- Ss trade their answers in pairs or groups for correction.
